Good morning Everyone ~ First of all I want to say a heartfelt thank you for all of your wonderful encouraging posts and well wishes. Both of us are excited about this new adventure in our life. I will be posting a link in a day or two to our Etsy shop, for anyone who wishes to visit.
I've got my next little piece of embroidery drawn out out fabric, but that is as far as I've gotten. Mr. ElastikUs rigged up and old magnifying glass with light (that was his Dad's), and that is going to be so great for working with fine threads and beads. I look forward to starting the next project soon.

What a great idea. I have seen lights like that at Joanne's however they are over $100.00 so it is really wonderful that hubs was able to rig one up. Looking forward to your shop posts.
ReplyDeleteHope this magnifying light is working well for you. I couldn't do without mine! Jeri
ReplyDeleteGood morning Catsngrams ~ I saw those lights online and they were expensive like you said. It is nice that we had this one that had been DH's fathers.
ReplyDeleteHi Jeri ~ It magnifies just great and the lighting is nice too, but it makes me feel kind of seasick using it. I think it's because I'm continually moving the hoop, if you know what I mean. When you paint, your watercolor paper stays in one place. The stronger glasses are really helping. I think they are 300s, and I only wear them for that, as they are too strong otherwise.
